The amethyst offered for sale on this page come from a little known occurrence near Lemon Creek, BC. Several decades ago attractive crystal specimens were collected by local collectors from the side of a logging road. Specimens consisted of sharp crystals of amethyst as large as 1 cm in length dispersed on a druzy matrix. Some of the loose crystals were clear enough to produce faceted gems, the largest of which weighed about 1.5 carats, however, most gems weigh much less than 1 carat.
